A little while back, in 1995, Trey Parker and Matt Stone were hired by a FOX executive to make a video Christmas card to send out to a bunch of select people. Matt and Trey were given a mere $2000 to make the video that was to be sent out. They only ended up using about one-third of the money that they were given but a hell of a lot of construction paper was used. The Spirit of Christmas did manage to get sent out before Christmas. In just a month or two, LOTS of people had heard about the video and were getting their hands on a copy.
